Alaina Suddeth, born September 8, 1994, in Rossville Georgia was the daughter of Kristy Suddeth along with J. J. Suddeth. Her father, who was an engineer from Tennessee, began singing at age three. As a member of a children's choir, and also at an annual retreat with karaoke, she sang her first shows at public events. She performed in places like restaurants, churches, events for families, and anywhere within 30 miles of her home. Alaina was a singer at the age eight, won the Southern Stars Pageant Talent Competition. In the following year, she was invited to perform at the Riverbend Festival's Kids Talent Stage. The stage was used each year up to the age of 12 at which point she was crowned the winner of a competition that allowed her to perform on the big stage at the event. She traveled from Orlando, Florida, when she was ten to compete at the American Model and Talent Competition. The event was won by her who beat 1,500 other kids. Alaina was part of the Georgia Country Gospel Music Association Children's Choir. The first time she visited Nashville at the age of twelve.
